Objects made by us are labeled as artificial; The marks we make, the things we create.

While we as a species grow larger and larger, we cluster more and more into dense urban clusters. Through the growth of these artificial structures, the brightness of the lights, the flows of our movements from place to place, all seem man-made, but are all truly organic in nature.

This body of work is meant to capture this phenomenon. Each work is widely unplanned. The distracting details and intricacies familiar to urban centers are diminished to allow the viewer to look at the formations of our most artificial places exhibit and their organic presence. I aim to capture the aesthetic weight of our progress, the daunting immensity of our structures, and the organic flow this process has naturally underneath.
